Frequently asked questions
What is sandbox mode?
Every account has a sandbox and a live mode. Sandbox orders go through the same validation, pricing and routing rules but are never produced, shipped or charged. API keys and OAuth grants are bound to one mode.
Do I need to change my existing CloudCore integration?
Only the base URL. The CloudCore v1.0 API keeps the JSON body apikey, the same paths (with or without trailing slash), fields and error codes. See CloudCore v1.0.
How long is a quote valid?
Quotes are valid for 48 hours. Ordering with a quote token binds the quoted shipping price; a quote can be ordered once.
What happens if I send the same order twice?
With the native API you send an Idempotency-Key: the same key and body returns the original order, a different body with the same key is rejected with a conflict. CloudCore uses the order reference the same way.
Which store platforms are connected?
See integration status. In this review environment only an in-repo simulated store imports orders; real providers are listed as external dependencies until verified.
How is tax shown?
If tax is not configured for your account, quotes and orders say so explicitly instead of showing a calculated zero.
Where can I see whether the platform is healthy?
The status page shows live readiness checks and the incident history recorded by operations.
